About

Today, airline agents are using antiquated systems to manage aircraft ground operations, with some more than 20 years old. And that is when they are not using paper in pencil because they have no credible alternative to track operations. At Tarmac Technologies, we are building a platform to give those ground agents access to the latest technologies. In doing so, we are eliminating aircraft delays and offering seamless ground operations! We are working with international airlines in Europe & in the US.

Job Description

Under tutorship, you will be part of the development of the platform. This Django platform will serve worldwide services to airline companies through a granular and robust RESTful API. With your team, you will design, implement and deploy new features to improve the current platform. You will be able to develop those new services on AWS with automatic CI.

What you will do:
● Develop new features on a recent web-based platform
● Write high quality code, testable with code reviews on Github
● Work autonomously with a recent technical stack
● Collaborate closely with the Lead Developer

Preferred Experience

Qualifications
● Demonstrated experience in Python 3
● Strong engineering skills (code versioning, tests and code reviews)
● Proficient, autonomous and rigorous

Preferred qualifications
● Previous experiences with Django Framework
● Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, Amazon Redshift)
● Knowledge of AWS services (S3, Lambda, EC2, Aurora, Glue, Redshift)
