The team initially focuses on the identification of immunotherapy drug targets and biomarkers based on gene expression datasets from multiple public and private databases. Epigene Labs thus aspires to significantly accelerate drug discovery for precision medicine in oncology.

Job Description
Epigene Labs is looking for a Data Product Management Intern for a 6-month end-of-studies internship, starting between January and June 2025.
As a Data Product Management Intern, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our data operations. You'll work closely with our computational biology, data science, and engineering teams to design, develop, and maintain a robust data operations monitoring dashboard. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product management, data analytics, and bioinformatics.
Preferred Experience
Responsibilities

Develop a data operations monitoring dashboard: Design and implement a comprehensive dashboard to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to data ingestion, processing, and quality.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams: Work closely with computational biologists, data scientists, and engineers to gather requirements, analyze data, and ensure the dashboard meets the needs of our users.

Participate in day-to-day product operations: Contribute to product planning, roadmap development, and feature prioritization.

Analyze and interpret data: Use data-driven insights to identify trends, optimize processes, and improve the overall efficiency of our data operations.

Documentation: Prepare and communicate your findings with stakeholders.
Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Management or a related field.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
·
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Metabase, PowerBI).

Strong ability to communicate your ideas and collaborate with a diverse team.

A passion for data-driven innovation and a desire to make a positive impact in healthcare.
