After raising €11 million and €30 million financing rounds with investors such as Idinvest Partners, Global Founders Capital, Kima Ventures and Financière Saint James, Colonies is accelerating its growth and will start launching developments and operations across Continental European markets with a focus on Germany, Benelux and Switzerland.

Job Description

* WHAT WOULD YOU BE IN CHARGE OF? * 💼

As a Graphic Designer Intern , you work closely with our Brand, Communication, Marketing and Web team. You are their image/graphic and presentation production wizard, making the magic happen, based on inhouse pre-established guidelines. You create templates for presentations (Office, Google, InDesign), assist on video production (e.g. shooting, editing) or any other assigned project.

WHAT WOULD BE YOUR MAIN MISSIONS? 🎯

✔️ Graphic Design tasks:

·  Liaise with the Chief Brand Officer to help create high quality documents such as booklets, presentations, presentation plans of our living spaces – Adobe Creative Suite and in particular excellent Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop skills
·  Work on social media post graphics and branding
·  Use photography skills (non essential)
·  Take clear design briefs, develop storyboards, create concepts which are visual, engaging, targeted to the – audience and which use our brand effectively

✔️ Some website tasks:

·  Create and ensure content and materials that are live and inline with our schedule and functioning correctly on Squarespace
·  Develop web content management graphics and branding
·  Manipulate and optimize images
·  Suggest new features and functionalities

💎You have strong interpersonnal skills and are a real team player

💎Advanced software skills in Adobe Creative Suite, including: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat

💎Excellent knowledge of SquareSpace. Wordpress and Webflow are a big plus.

💎You speak fluently both English and French

We are vertically integrated. Everything is made in-house by a community of 60 doers! We source properties, design co-living spaces, supervise the rehabilitation/construction work, rent the rooms and take care of the daily operations to ensure the most enjoyable experience to our tenants.

We are growing at a fast pace to support the opening of a new house every two weeks. As a matter of fact, the number of rooms will be multiplied by 10 in the 18 coming months.

Does it work? Yes, today all our rooms are rented even before the rehabilitation/construction work is over.
