Our client Rogers Aviation is looking for an intern in informatics. For more infos:

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer or the eCommerce & Digital Marketing Manager, your role is to deliver and support innovative Web and CMS solutions using API first strategy, Open Source platforms and OOPS & PHP frameworks (predominantly CodeIgniter & Symfony Framework).

Missions:

- Ensure new developments are fully specified to deliver to client requirements
- Work closely with Project Managers and the eCommerce & Digital Marketing Manager to define and estimate the technical scope of each projects
- Employ mature work estimation processes to enable projects to be delivered on time and on budget
- Keep up to date with the industry best practices and technological updates and share new knowledge to improve processes, technology and results.
- Ensure all development works are fully documented with accompanying Client User Guides and support documentation.
- Use analytical skills to identify and resolve coding, development and/or process issues

Profil recherché

1. Technical Skills

- Fluent in API, PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, Angular Js, Bootstrap and Node. Knowledge of Eclipse, Python and Ruby on Rail would be a plus.
- Basic proficiency in Linux administration, Apache configuration, MySQL database design and PHP web development
- Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
- Experience in integrating Open Source or third-party applications into existing systems such as Sabre API, XML Connectors etc…
- Proficiency in hand-coded W3C compliant Javascript, HTML & CSS


2. Personal Skills

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (French & English)
- Strong sense of responsibility and initiative
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the field with proven track record.
