Job Description

We are seeking our new Sales Development Representative   to join the SBS team! We are seeking an ambitious and articulate Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team at our Bucharest office. In this role, you will be the engine of our sales growth, responsible for generating qualified leads and building a robust sales pipeline for our financial technology solutions across EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa). You will work closely with Account Executives and the marketing team to identify, qualify, and engage key decision-makers at leading financial institutions.

Responsibilities:

·  Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities within the financial services sector across the EMEA region;
·  Conduct outreach to potential clients through cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling (LinkedIn Sales Navigator);
·  Research and map target accounts to identify key decision-makers, stakeholders, and organizational structure;
·  Schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives with prospective clients;
·  Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and pipeline progression in CRM system (Salesforce);
·  Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly lead generation targets and KPIs;
·  Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and SBS's product offerings;
·  Collaborate with marketing and demand generation teams on lead generation campaigns and messaging;
·  Provide feedback on prospect pain points and market signals to help refine sales messaging and positioning;
·  Translate complex product capabilities into clear, compelling value propositions that resonate with target customers.

Qualifications

·  Language Skills: Fully bilingual in French and English (written and spoken). Fluency in a third language (German, Dutch, or Spanish) is a strong plus;
·  Experience: 2-3 years of proven experience in a sales development, lead generation, or similar role, preferably in fintech, banking software, or B2B SaaS;
·  Track Record: Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets and lead generation goals;
·  Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial services industry, banking technology solutions, and enterprise software complexity;
·  Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively;
·  Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce) and sales engagement tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email outreach platforms);
·  Market Acumen: Ability to conduct competitive analysis and stay informed on market trends in banking and fintech;
·  Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with ability to work effectively with Account Executives, marketing, and cross-functional teams;
·  Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered;
·  Mindset: Self-motivated, resilient, and results-oriented with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
