Job Description
We are looking for a System Engineer with practical expertise in critical embedded systems and software to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of next-generation electric and autonomous on-road and off-road vehicles.
Responsibilities:
· Automotive systems modeling language (SysML)
· Develop and maintain embedded software using Matlab Simulink Suite
· Collaborate with engineering teams to understand system/software requirements
· Generate code for AUTOSAR and non-AUTOSAR environment with abstraction layer
· Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and validation of embedded software
· Perform safety analyses, including FMEA, FTA and DFA, to evaluate system safety performance and identify improvement opportunities.
· Document design decisions, test results, and integration workflows
· Review functional safety work products for compliance with ISO 26262 and related standards.
· Participate in stakeholder meetings to align on priorities, milestones, and deliverables
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
· Significant experience in Matlab Simulink
· Hands-on experience integrating software with Infineon Aurix TC3xx ECU platforms
· Experience with dSPACE MicroAutobox 3 (MABX3) integrating Matlab Simulink models
· Ability to interpret system-level requirements and translate them into software specifications
· Experience in system engineering, with a focus on automotive systems or robotics systems
· Experience in safety analysis type FMEA and DFA.
· Experience in functional safety for E/E architecture and integration with mechanical systems
· Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability reach out the client.
Preferred skills
· Experience with one of these standards: ISO 26262, ISO 13849, IEC 61508, IEC 62061.
· Experience with requirement engineering tool like JAMA
· Experience in AUTOSAR classic and adaptive
· Certification in functional safety (e.g., TÜV Functional Safety Engineer) is a plus.
