Summer Internship - Customs Trade and Compliance

Job description

Our 2017 Summer Internship Program is designed for professional development with hands-on assignments. Summer Interns will find a challenging and rewarding business experience in a variety of areas all while acquiring an overview of our organization.

Interns will work closely with mentors and managers on special projects, and attend valuable workshops throughout the duration of the program.

This summer program gives you an opportunity for exposure to a variety of Solvay's Business Units and Service Functions while gaining experience working in a corporate environment.

Desired profile

The following requirements must be met for consideration in this program:

·  2- 3 years of education towards a degree in Accounting or a related area.
·  High level of familiarity with Excel.
·  Strong communication skills
·  Update Compliance Manuals
·  Assist with government audits
·  Logistics vendor invoice processing
·  Import documentation maintenance
