Novecare develops and produces formulations that alter the properties of liquids. It offers solutions to the oil and gas industry using an extensive range of surface chemistries combined with applications expertise. Novecare also provide specialty solutions for certain industrial applications, agricultural, and coatings markets.

Job Overview and Responsibilities

·  Provide analysis and feedback to business and sales team with emphasis on CM (contribution margin), forecasting, cost and pricing to support the NA coatings business
·  Provide cost/price/CM guidance: for new or current sales opportunities: provide cost; average selling price for markets with data backup on rationale for suggestion. Understand the impact on cost/price/volume.
·  Potential for account management, supporting a handful of smaller accounts and/or distributors
·  Assist and lead cost savings initiatives that improve contribution margins and variable cost
·  Assist in Commercial Excellence initiatives for NA coatings business
·  Assist business and sales on product availability, product shortages, inventory control by working w/the supply chain and order book tracking
·  Assist in providing sales & market information for the development and implementation of business plans and growth in new markets, competitive analysis
·  Responsible for collecting market information and communicating current and emerging needs
·  Work closely with other groups to best align customer service, product management, supply chain, purchasing; to monitor cost impact (raw materials, manufacturing, packaging, transportation, etc.); communicate regularly to business and sales.  
·  Work on internal projects to improve business efficiency and performance in line with medium term roadmap

Education and Experience

·  3-5 Years of experience in marketing & sales support or business financial support functions with exposure to marketing, planning; chemical industry background preferred but not required.
·  Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or Technical (Engineering, Chemistry or related field) degree 
·  MBA preferred
·  Experience formulating waterborne coatings, adhesives and inks is a plus


·  Demonstrated skill in financial analysis 
·  Database management and data assimilation
·  Strong analytical and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a matrix organization.
·  Strong written and oral presentation skills.
·  Experience with CRM tools
·  Computer literate, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
