Job Overview and Responsibilities:

The Laboratory Technicians provide analytical support for in-process control, finished product quality, and environmental compliance. They also maintain a safe and clean laboratory environment, and ensure all equipment is calibrated and in good working order. They are work responsibly and proactively communicate with their internal customers, which include Production, Logistics, Environmental, and Supervision. 

Key Responsibilities: 

·  Work safely and actively participate in safety meetings, and safety inspections. 
·  Perform all analyses required to ensure product quality and environmental compliance. Perform routine calibrations of equipment and methods, and maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment. to ensure quality of results. 
·  Maintain proper physical and electronic records of analyses and QA work to meet ISO 9000 and FSSC22000 requirements. 
·  Provide technical support to operators and analytical support to Operations and Engineering. This includes call coverage of the process support lab. 
·  Housekeeping, procurement, and stocking to maintain a safe, clean, and well stocked lab environment. 
·  Sample shipping to meet customer and business needs. 

Education and Experience:

Education Level: Bachelors in a Science or Technology related field with lab experience
preferable

Length of Working Experience 2-5 years of experience in a Process Lab.

The job will require the successful candidate to: 

communicate effectively with management, employees and persons outside utilizing all mediums by developing and maintaining constructive and cooperative interpersonal relationships 

utilize computers and computer systems to navigate, set up functions, enter data or process information; 

develop specific goals and plans to organize, prioritize and accomplish work activities.
