Managerial Accounting Team Lead - temporary position for 2 years

Job description
· Assists the Team on month-end and year-end closing activities for managerial accounting: Investments&Divestments, costing and other related areas in accordance with corporate closing calendar, ensuring all relevant tasks are performed and data upload to consolidation systems;
· Communication with the SOLVAY organization (mainly Country Accounting Managers, Business Controllers, Process Experts, Corporate Finance)
· Proactive follow up with various parties in the organization to communicate progress during the closing period, issues resolution related to the General ledger , costing, I&D other activities, close cooperation with RTR Regional Team Leads and RTR Lead, acts as a team member of the SBS RtR Team;
· Ensures that control narratives and manuals for the Team are updated when required to comply with Corporate Internal Control requirements;
· Keeps the Team motivated, manages turnover, participates in hiring process;
Desired profile
Qualifications :
· Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or Business & Management
· 3-5 years of progressive experience working in a financial environment, including the areas of financial reporting and fiscal accounting
· People management competencies and experience
· Performance improvement & Results orientation
· Ability to work in team, motivate others, address employee needs and resolve problems
· Able to work in a dynamic environment and produce work of a high quality and integrity;
· Previous working experience with ERP systems (SAP, BAAN)
· Working English language skills
