Job Overview and Responsibilities:
For an identified portfolio of BU’s or functions, the International Mobility coordinator acts as a HR Partner in charge of the management of Global Transfers including expatriation, repatriation, international transfer and localization.
The main domains of responsibilities of the coordinator are the following:
· Support HR request to provide cost estimation and assignment package with respect to the business needs and in line with Solvay HR policy
· Brief the assignee on her/his package, and proceed to required package updates all along the expatriation
· Answering assignee questions during expatriation period
· Initiate and coordinate internal & external providers, facilitate the transfer of information to all parties involved in the roll out of expatriation related procedures (payroll, immigration, tax, social security, moving …)
· Advise HR Business Partner on specific projects
The position reports to the International Mobility Operations Manager. As part of the team she/he shares input and ideas on process/policy improvements.
The International Mobility coordinator is permanently in touch with several internal and external stakeholders.
Education and Experience:
· Master degree
· A first experience in Human Resources
Skills:
· Excellent written and verbal communication in English is mandatory
· Genuine customer service, detail orientation, precision and discretion
· High data integrity with the ability to act as an advisor in a professional and confidential environment
· Good interpersonal skills, insight and judgment
· Excellent organization and problem solving skills
