Floor Operator

Job description

Solvay Specialty Polymers, Augusta is looking for a Floor Operator. This

position will be in the Amodel production area and be responsible for:

Take readings on equipment as required, monitoring the process and equipment

of proper operations, take samples as needed and react to emergency

conditions as needed.

Perform all manual loading and unloading of materials or equipment as

required.

Setup all hand valves and process equipment as required for any and all

operations.

Perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting as required on process

equipment.

Respond to nonstandard conditions as appropriate.

Practice and participate safety training and/or meetings, safely perform all

activities required to successfully operate the plant and take responsibility for

personal safety of others.

Operation of forklift and other industrial lifting equipment.
