Job description

Novecare develops leading edge technologies that affect the behavior of fluids to give them cleansing, softening, moisturizing, hydrating, gelling, texturizing, penetrating or dispersing properties. Its products are found in shampoos, detergents, paints, lubricants, plant protection, mining and oil extraction.

BASIC FUNCTION :
Responsible, under the direction of Production Manager, for manufacturing product, receiving raw materials, shipping product, adhere to all aspects of the EH&S program, maintain all required records, participate in housekeeping activities, and load/unload trucks.
This position is a permanent position.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
· Participate in chemical blending process, be able to follow procedures, transfer material to storage tanks, load bulk tank trucks, fill tote bins.
· Drive a forklift to load/unload flatbed trucks or to transfer raw materials.
· Participate in housekeeping activities.
· Follow all Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures. This will include all aspects of Process Safety Management.
· Must be able to comply with all Solvay safety rules and company policies.
· Participate in the Incident Investigation process.
· Be available to support plant activities by working weekends or holidays when required.
· Possess good oral and written communication skills.
· Complete assigned tasks as issued by the Production Manager or Plant Manager.
· Be a team player who can interface well with all employees.
· Participate in the annual employee performance assessments.
· Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

·  HS degree or higher education level, previous oil field or chemical related industry preferred.
·  Good written and oral communication skills.
·  Be able to follow directions.
·  Good personal skills.
·  Ability to work well with all levels.
·  Ability to lift 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
