The management and development of Solvay's Multi-Business Offices (MBUs) are concentrated in areas where GBUs have no or limited commercial resources. By leveraging sales and marketing synergies, along with providing local expertise and customer proximity, this allows our GBUs to seize profitable opportunities for responsible and sustainable growth.

Job Overview and Responsibilities

Ø Office Management

o  Manage and coordinate office supplies and equipment (including IT related, work with MIS team to make sure all equipment running smoothly)

o  Maintain office area in clean and orderly fashion

Ø Administrative & Secretarial function

o  Secretarial tasks to support Managers (Managers of 4 GBUs)

o  Organize all meetings/events/activities in Taiwan office (including AmCham Taipei, CMC events)

o  Arrange accommodation & transportation for managers/colleagues/visitors, organize visa documents

o  Provide others administration or documents assistance for company staff if needed

o  Manage some part of office petty cash

Ø Receptionist

o  Answer phone calls, greet visitors/customers, collect couriers, manage in/out express couriers or samples

Education and Experience

Minimum Bachelor Degree 


Ø Good capability in communication, organization

Ø Able to work independently under pressure to meet deadline

Ø Personality of politeness & responsibility is necessary

Ø Self-driven with good team working spirit

Ø Work efficiently & effectively

Ø Well manipulation of basic computer skills (e.g. Microsoft system: Word, Excel, PowerPoint…)

Ø Good in multi-task

Additional Information

Fluent in written and spoken Chinese and English
