It doesn’t get any bigger than Sodexo’s Sales and Events Team at Hampden Park, Scotland’s National Stadium!

We are currently looking for an experienced, innovative Sales and Events Coordinator to join our fast paced Sales Team – applicants should have previous work experience within the Meetings and Events Sector, with a passion for sales and a pro-active, ‘can do’ attitude.

This role is a permanent position with opportunities for further career progression within a global organisation.

Role Responsibility

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, applicants should have experience in working to and achieving targets and are expected to consistently strive to represent the venue in a positive manner.This role is key to developing client relationships and securing both future and repeat conference and event business, helping to drive business growth.

Key responsibilities include diary management, inquiry handling, account development, pro-active selling, new business development, client retention, complaint handling, networking, data analysis and venue promotion.

To liaise with clients at every stage of their event journey ensuring that the event planning process is as fluid as possible.

Desired profile

The Ideal Candidate

·  An understanding of budgeting, forecasting and revenue control is preferred and candidates should display a high level of attention to detail, confident telephone manner and advanced communication skills.
·  Experience of working in a busy office environment
·  Possession of strong communication and administration skills
·  Proven experience within the Hospitality Industry

£17,500 + Benefits OTE £20,000
