Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for a Hospitality Assistant/Admin to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.

Role Responsibility

·  Deliver 5 star service at all times.
·  Assist with all aspects of the preparation of food service areas and presentation of food to the notified standard.
·  To prepare all food with due care and attention, particularly in regard to customers’ special dietary requirements.
·  Promote a friendly working relationship with colleagues.
·  Promote a good company image to customers and guests by using positive customer service practices.
·  Can occasionally ‘step up’ and supervise a small team of staff during large functions.
·  Support the hospitality manager with day to day emails, hospitality requests and inputting of information to the function sheets.
·  Assist management team with any administrative needs they may have, which will include taking notes during weekly management meetings.
·  To undertake occasional duties outside the normal routine and assist in other areas of the business.
·  Comply with all company and Client policies and procedures, statutory regulations relating to your work place, this will include but not limited to fire, health and safety, hygiene, working safely and COSHH.
·  To ensure the correct standard is set and adhered to in all areas of service delivery- to include room set-up, F&B delivery and customer liaison to company and client satisfaction
·  Liaise with Head Chef, Hospitality Supervisor on a daily basis to ensure the smooth running of the catering operation.
·  To ensure that, company and client statutory regulations regarding hygiene, health and safety, fire and security are complied with at all times.
·  Ensure all services provided and presented to the quality and standards agreed and maintain consistency throughout.
·  To ensure all duties are completed within set time scales
·  To ensure all services are provided with the correct accompaniments and that replenishment are available if required. This should include services being re stocked as supplies run down and that the service runs without delay or hindrance
·  To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in all hospitality areas and in all tasks and duties carried out within the team- with special regard for personal hygiene and appearance.
·  To carry out any other reasonable duty that may be requested by management that pertains to the total operation of Sodexo
·  To assist in other catering areas as and when requested.

Desired profile

The Ideal Candidate

·  Previous experience working within 4 star to 5 star hotel/restaurant services.
·  Experience of working in a similar industry such as food service, catering or hospitality.
·  Good communication skills.
·  Strong customer service skills.
·  Have a strong ‘can do’ attitude.
·  Full flexibility on working hours.
·  Have a full driver’s license
