Role Responsibility

·  Maintain an efficient Bar/Cellar service for the Mess Members in all bars in compliance to service standards and company cash procedures
·  Roster and supervise bar staff, ensuring bar are fully operational at all times
·  Responsible for safe and secure handling of bar stocks and cash
·  Carry out mandatory company and skills training, identify areas of training require of bar staff
·  Identify areas of improvements and opportunities in bar areas to the mess managers
·  Carry out stock weekly stock checks
·  Close accounts in the absence of the responsible manager
·  Place stock orders in the absence of the manager
·  Maintaining food safety and health and safety to government and company requirements
·  Cash handling and till operation
·  Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in your area of concern.
·  Reporting of defects/deficiencies to the Manager as they occur.
