Description of the Business Line or Department

Kleinwort Hambros Wealth Planning offers a comprehensive wealth planning service that complements our investment management expertise, allowing us to provide an integrated and coordinated approach to managing a client's wealth, whilst maximising the opportunities available. Our Wealth Planning advice is tailored to our clients whether they be UK or International covering areas such as: retirement planning. investment structuring, financial protection, succession planning along with trust and judiciary services and cross border planning. The key objective of the team is to maximise the revenue and asset gathering through providing a comprehensive wealth planning offering to Kleinwort Hambros client's

Summary of the key purposes of the role

· 
To provide administrative support to Wealth Planners within the UK Domestic Wealth Planning team.

· 
Interpretation of post meeting notes and information, research relating to existing policies and investments

· 
Collaboration with Wealth Planners to ensure that advice is delivered within an agreed timescale

· 
To maintain clear record keeping and provide management information when required.

Summary of responsibilities

Administration

· 
Process new business through to completion covering all aspects of the business cycle.

· 
To support Head of Group Wealth Planning assisting with diary, arranging meetings, travel arrangements, preparing reports and presentations when required.

· 
General administration duties including scanning, archiving, preparing invoices, chasing outstanding invoices, post

· 
Place external deposits and process deposit maturities within Offshore Bonds.

· 
Competent in dealing with client queries when necessary.

· 
Carrying out research on client existing situation (requesting and checking all current information)

· 
Provide Management Information within defined guidelines.

· 
Liaise with other departments within Kleinwort Hambros when the business requires.

· 
To assist Wealth Planner's with planning travel arrangements and arranging meetings.

· 
To liaise with private and assistant bankers on new business when appropriate.

· 
Communicate effectively to our external providers, dealing with Offshore Bond withdrawals, SIPP drawdown, obtaining quotations and other relevant information.

· 
Entering client and product data on the Wealth Planning front office system.

· 
To be IT Literate and preferably familiar with Exchange, Selecta Pension Systems and a range of Microsoft Office systems.

· 
Technical exposure to SIPP's, GPP's, EPP's. Occupational Pension Schemes, SSAS, Offshore Bonds, EIS/VCT's, Drawdown, Annuities.

· 
Perform all duties in accordance with the principles outlined in the SG Code of Conduct, as well as the policies and procedures relevant to your responsibilities, to ensure that you adhere to a culture that treats clients fairly and focuses on the long term sustainability of client relationships
