Trade & Commodity Finance Assistant-(H/F)

Job description

Vos missions au quotidien

The main mission is to bring a support to the TCF Front Office and especially TRA activity. The candidate must in first time understand the traders’ flows and their type of operations together with the specifics of the transactional trade finance products and flows of commodity in order to help:

Marketing and Origination

·  Gather information from a variety of sources on potential customers and target countries (company accounts, market reports, Bloomberg, internet, etc.)
·  Analyze in detail the corporate profile and FI profile (market, business, competition, organization, etc.) as well as historical audited accounts
·  Assist in the preparation of credit approvals

Execution

·  Prepare financial models to support the evaluation of the deal structure
·  Participate to the preparation of credit applications to obtain approval to execute deals and /or lines (bank and corporate) renewal
·  Perform calculation of deal profitability with limited supervision

Management reporting

·  Gather information to assist in preparation of management reviews and reporting

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Geneva is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. Please see www.civiweb.com , in order to have more details regarding your financial indemnities.

You are graduated with a Master degree from Engineering or Business School or University with a specialization in Finance

Ideally first trade commodity finance experience or first bank experience in financing department

You are fluent in English

You are proficient in Microsoft Office application (Excel, powerpoint).
