Software Engineer - Oracle Expert

Job description

Responsibilities

o Validate with the operator the reference technical basics of the ISD on DBMS technologies (Oracle) of the competence center, including in terms of performance,

o Providing development teams with installation and deployment standards,

o Provide support and assistance for studies on DBMS (Oracle) technologies managed by the competence centers throughout the manufacturing cycle

o Assist, if necessary, studies on significant application problems in production

o Bring Oracle expertise to BSC ME teams for their specific needs: benchmarking, optimizations, code review, ...

o Build, make available and maintain reusable development components and associated tools,

o Administer and maintain the development tools, support the deployment of these tools in the study teams, train the user teams,

o Knowledge of the open source database PostgreSQL would be a plus

Profile required

prerequisite for the job:

An experience as a developer
At least 1 to 3 years of Oracle database administration

Provide technical expertise on Oracle databases to development teams

- Solve customers' problems, identify pragmatic solutions that meet the needs of project teams, in accordance with the strategy of the SI

- Listening, empathy and openness to fully understand the reasons and motivations of his client while having a capacity to challenge (ability to affirm).

- Adapt his language and his message, capture the attention of his interlocutors. Accept realistic compromises.
