At Societe Generale, you will be joining the Global Markets division (MARK) of SG Corporate and Investment Banking. MARK offers a cross-asset approach along all its offerings : Research, Investment & Risk Management Solutions, Execution and Prime Services to asset managers, pension funds, companies, private banks, insurance companies, hedge funds, family offices, sovereign funds and distributors worldwide.
You will join the Product Marketing Team, part of the Engineering Department, within the Markets Division of SGCIB.
Product marketing sits at the heart of engineering teams, providing all stakeholders with the tools to better serve clients:
- Providing sales with the support to ensure proper client understanding of our hedging and investment solutions: product presentations, RFP, sales trainings, knowledge management tools
- Helping engineers to convey their ideas and solutions with sales : product mapping, product analysis / backtesting, regulatory approval

Mission

Your role

During your VIE mission you will be in charge of these responsibilities:

- Assisting sales in providing tools for their clients: marketing material, excel files
- Assisting engineers in developing the new product offer
- Ensuring correct regulatory standards alongside compliance and legal teams


In more details :

- Drafting marketing presentations, brochures, factsheets for cross-asset structured products
- Past performance simulation and scenario analysis for derivative products using excel and VBA
- Assisting dedicated sales in servicing institutional clients, private banks and wealth managers
- Liaising with pricing and structuring teams in developing the product offer
- Liaising with compliance department in order to comply with the latest FCA financial promotions policy
- Good knowledge of SG research publication and ability to summarise it in marketing presentations
- Conducting market research
- Ability to work with Bloomberg and other data bases
- Promoting new ways to deliver our offer internally and externally
- Keeping up to date with regulatory changes

The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in London is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com.



Your profile
Graduate from Engineering school, Business School or University with a master degree in Economics/Business Administration/Finance.

You ideally have a previous experience in financial markets and you have derivatives knowledge
You are fluent in English and French.
You are proficient with MS Office especially Excel and Power Point. VBA would be a plus.
