Responsibilities

This analyst role will provide the successful applicant with direct involvement in credit and financial analysis.

·  Portfolio monitoring to include the completion of annual reviews.

Account reviews:

· Credit analysis, identifying risk factors, preparing the credit write up and recommendation.

· Financial spreads

· Reviewing the asset to be financed or leased: understanding the justification of the equipment, collateral valuation, depreciation and gap analysis.

· Establish risk ratings on transactions

· Prepare ad-hoc reporting and participate in special projects

·  KYC (know your customer) completion according to AML/KYC policies.

Administration of account maintenance to include updates to databases

Profile Required

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Jersey City is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com .

Your profile

Graduate from Engineering school, Business School or University with a master degree in Finance.

You are fluent in English. Spanish is a plus.

You are proficient with MS Office especially Excel.

You have strong presentation skills, both oral and written

Knowledge of risk metrics and regulatory framework

Understanding of financial statements
Advanced knowledge with excel
Understanding of banking business: the nature of risk attracting products offered by SG, how those risks are measured and how they may react/change/evolve under different scenarios
