Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the coverage team in charge of the financial clients in the Netherlands, the VIE will be a key member of the clients coverage team, supporting their efforts to deliver the highest level of diligence regarding Know Your Customer (“KYC”) procedures along with the preservation of the clients' relationships.

The position consists in supporting the financial coverage team in the enforcement of the internal KYC procedures, collecting documents and information required from clients to deliver them to the KYC analysts in a timely manner and with rigor, to ensure the smooth processing of the KYC reviews. This position entails (i) client contacts on the one hand and (ii) internal contacts to achieve the reviews.

Your Role:

·  Communicate effectively with front office, KYC teams and clients to obtain documentation
·  Updating internal databases and spreadsheets where applicable (including the scanning and archiving of documents)
·  Reconciles data and information as reported in the systems, proposes systems improvements and reports technical problems
·  Capacity to work on specific projects which may rise from time to time

Profile required

·  Graduate with a Master degree from Business school or University, majoring in Economics/Finance or Law
·  Ideally an experience similar to the position
·  Fluent in English
·  Proficient in Office application (data filtering, vlookups and pivot tables)

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Amsterdam is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. Please see www.civiweb.com, in order to have more details regarding your financial indemnities.

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that your VIE mission could potentially get postponed, depending on the evolution of the health crisis and subjects to the decision made by the Crisis and Support Centre of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE). In addition, the selected candidate will only be paid upon confirmation from Business France and arrival in the country of assignment.
