Your environment

At Societe Generale, you will be joining the Operations department (OPER) of Global Banking & Investors Solutions (GBIS), one of the three pillars of SG that brings together Corporate and Investment Banking activities, Private Banking activities, and Asset Management and Investor Services. OPER handles the middle and back office functions for all GBIS business lines.
In addition, OPER ensures the control and security of transaction processing in accordance with current financial législations.

The Operations Department handle the middle and back office functions for all SG CIB business lines (Markets and Financing). Therefore, OPER/ORG aims at supporting the organization by providing support and expertise in projects delivery.

The project manager mission is to lead studies and execute projects following OPER management needs which can be related torisk mitigation, cost saving, organization and change management in respects to OPER/ORGethic – deontology, confidentiality and safety.

Your role

Your main responsibilities will be:

·  Complete business requirements:
- By liaising with production teams in order to analyse as-is activities processes
- By proposing organisation solutions (processes, perimeters modifications) or IT solutions (Information Systems evolution)
- By assessing these solutions and present them to his/her hierarchy for validation
- Define requirements in collaboration with the production teams
·  Support and participate in the testing and implementation of the changes:
- Creation, writing of the tests plans
- Tests execution
·  Co-ordinate various stakeholders in order to respect the project planningand execution
·  Ensure all documentations (key working documents and exhaustive list of deliverables) related to the project are properly stored
·  Follow our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence
·  Provide team lead and project leaders with regular and ad-hoc reports on progress, risks and issues for progress tracking and decision making purposes

The VIE assignment in a nutshell


This VIE in London is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com .


Your profile

You are graduated with a Master degree from Engineering or Business School or University with a specialization in accounting or project management
A previous practical experience gained through internships in a bank/financial institution would be desirable.
Fluency in english.
You should have good command of MS Office programs.
