Your environment
At Societe Generale, you will be joining the Finance division of Global Banking & Investors Solutions (GBIS), one of the three pillars of SG that brings together Corporate and Investment Banking activities, Private Banking activities, Asset Management and Investor Services. This division oversees the quality and delivery of financial statements for GBIS, the independent certification of financial data for various activities, and also provides day-to-day explanations on profit and loss for market activities.
The main mission of the Business Operating Model team is the development and transformation of the business with the aim of enhancing the efficiency and growth dynamism of SGSS. It is responsible for:

·  Business Analysis – analysing, documenting & designing SGSS business operating model
·  Solutioning – identifying technical and operational challenges and investigating solutions
·  Change Management – coordinating or implementing change (business and technology)
The successful candidate will be playing a key role in SGSS' strategic journey to extend its presence in the UK.

Mission

Your role

Your main responsibilities will be:

·  Document process flows to support the design of the future state Operating Model for the organization and end to end process area
·  Liaise with business resources in order to analyze and map as-is activities and processes for the existing activities performed by SGS UK
·  Document recommendations for the to-be operating model (structures, processes, service delivery model)
·  Work with multiple stakeholders across the business, drawing on their expertise and bringing them along the journey
·  Provide team lead and project leaders with regular and ad-hoc reports on progress, risks and issues for progress tracking and decision making purposes
·  Ensure all documentations (key working documents and exhaustive list of deliverables) related to the project are properly stored
·  Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in London is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.

Your profile



Graduate from Engineering school, Business School or University with a master degree in Finance. You ideally have a previous experience in Project Management in Security Services fields.

You havegood knowledge of the banking environment and processes andof the current legal, regulatory and industry requirements.

You are fluent in English. French is an advantage.

You are proficient with MS Office.
