Societe Generale Global Solution Center (SG GSC), a 100% owned subsidiary of European banking major Societe Generale (SG), embarked on its Indian journey in 2000, and has displayed remarkable growth since. In 2002, the IT division expanded to include Investment Banking, and the back office operations were launched in 2004

Mission

What are some of the characteristics of an ideal candidate?

·  Clear understanding of Software Development life cycle with focus on Agile way of development using the Continuous Delivery principles and practices.
·  Strong fundamentals in Investment Banking & Capital Markets.
·  Knowledge on any particular product life cycle (MUST). Example Trade life cycle.
·  Working knowledge of SQL. RDBMS concepts is essential, XML would be a plus.
·  Exposure to Agile methodology with requirements-capturing using use cases and feature driven methods.
·  Ability to estimate in Man Days or T-shirt sizing. Ability to slice a big feature to reach Minimal Marketable Feature would be a plus.
·  Experience on identifying and executing test strategies, test plan and functional test cases.
·  Ability to work closely with Development team to create Behavior Driven Scenarios and execute them along with finished product.
·  Exposure the Defect Tracking tools like Jump or JIRA or QC is desired. Experience on writing quality functional / pseudo technical specification documents.
·  Experience in preparing and conducting functional reviews and training sessions.
·  Capability to works with clients and cross location teams to establish and maintain a consistent delivery.
·  Ability to work closely in a team environment is highly recommended. Worked on at least one project with minimum 12 months period.
·  Excellent presentation / communication skills with ability to co-ordinate between multiple stakeholders Basic Knowledge of any BPM tool (Adonis or MS-Visio) would be a plus Understand user expectations (Explicit and Implicit requirements) and raises clarifications with stakeholders to prepare functional requirement documents.
·  Give Knowledge Transfer to the development team on Functional Specifications. Train developers on functional concepts and resolve functional problems faced.

·  Acts as SPOC for business requirements and represents the end user in the development team. Lead and conduct functional testing thereby responsible for certification of product release before user acceptance.
·  Take full ownership of the delivery of the product in terms of quality and meeting the client requirements.
