Mission

DESCRIPTION OF THE BUSINESS LINE OR DEPARTMENT

The Operations Department handle the middle and back office functions for all SG CIB business lines (Markets and Financing). Therefore, OPER/REG implements all necessary means to ensure the SGCIB regulatory compliance of OPER scope.
In a very unpredictable and unstable context, the regulatory evolutions in Europe as well as in the US imply very important changes for our activity, impacting our business model, producing new reporting and other obligations with huge impact on our processes.
As we deal with many products, all new regulations impacting us, on a worldwide perspective
The regulatory projects management impact different stakeholders as Front office, OPER, Compliance and IT team.

SUMMARY

Regulatory projects context (MIFID2, MIFID, DFA, …)
Project related to clearing development offer
Regulatory projects of OPER context with UK impact

RESPONSIBILITIES

Take care of the quality of both deliverables and communication,
Ensure an efficient change management,
Set an efficient governance per project and ensure the proper coordination,
Develop professional relationships with sponsors and with all the stakeholders,
Define and monitor the budget (actual versus forecast).
Bring and develop this expertise on regulatory topics
Delivery of Business Requirements that meet the business and regulatory needs and obligations
Prepare, coordinate, and execute the testing and the UAT
Support our business partners in order to deliver best quality of service to our clients
Keep our operational risks low and enhancing the culture of risk management
Meet our cost constraints towards more efficiency
Develop people to better face the new context

Operational experience in Capital Markets support functions
CIB products knowledge
CIB Front to back processes knowledge
Regulatory constraints
Sharp knowledge of Operations business and Front to Back Office chains
Experience in structuring and following strategic projects
Command of communication tools
Reliable and tight communication
Knowledge of SGCIB organization and key points of contact (network)
Strategic / tactical vision depending on the project
Analytic and systematic mind

Education:
Business School , Engineering diploma, 5 year University degree
