Description of the Business Line or Department
The euro rates cash trading desk makes markets in euro government bonds, SSA (euros and us dollars) and covered bonds.
It is primary dealers in 14 euro countries
It is active with a wide range of clients across the world
It is a leader in euro markets

Your mission
Summary of the key purposes of the role
The assistant trader is supporting traders in their daily activity
They will be:
- monitoring risk
- marketing the franchise
- helping in quotations
Summary of responsibilities
- Maintain and develop risk or rv monitoring tools
- Contribution in chats, daily comments, pnl reports
- Quotations in D2D and D2C markets
- RV study, generation of trade ideas
- Big data analysis from the trading data collected by the desk
- Client data analysis

Your profile
Graduate with a Master's degree from Business/Engineering School or University in Mathematics/Finance.
You ideally have a previous experience in a bank or financial institution.
- Knowledge of finance in particular fixed income trading
- Technical skills (VBA)
- Financial maths
- Fluent English
- Good communication, oral and written, skills

The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Londonis to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
