We provide our issuer clients (corporates, financial institutions, public sector) with capital raising solutions, along with structured financing and commodities, forex and interest rate hedging. Description of the Business Line or Department
The mission of the ABP/ENG Collateral Solutions and Emerging Markets (CSE) team is to originate and execute strategic transactions such as secured funding (in particular backed by structured finance loans such as commercial real estate loans in particular), capital call transactions for private equity sponsors and originate to distribute initiatives. The team is also responsible for CMBS securitization transactions.
Mission
Summary of the key purposes of the role
• The role is under supervision of the London-based Head of ABP/ENG/CSE UK
• Support origination and structuring of transactions
• Support commercial initiatives
• Execute transactions within the CSE perimeter
• Monitor existing transactions
• Familiarise with all the CSE products, in particular secured funding, capital call transactions, CMBS and OtD products
Summary of responsibilities
• Preparation of client pitches and investor presentations
• Preparation of indicative term sheets for the ENG/CSE products
• Production of credit applications
• Detailed review, analysis (and negotiation) of transaction documents
• Modeling of the transactions
• KYC process, rating renewals and various other tasks
• Drafting of due diligence reports for rating agencies and investors
The role must be performed in accordance with the compliance rules inherent to the business. It has to be done in compliance with internal procedures and external regulatory rules.

Graduate with a Master's degree from Business/Engineering School or University in Mathematics/ Finance
You have strong credit and legal background / skills
You ideally have anInvestment banking / structured finance first experience
You are fluent in English.

The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in London is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
