Your environement:
At Societe Generale, you will be joining the Finance division of Global Banking & Investors Solutions (GBIS), one of the three pillars of SG that brings together Corporate and Investment Banking activities, Private Banking activities, Asset Management and Investor Services. This division oversees the quality and delivery of financial statements for GBIS, the independent certification of financial data for various activities, and also provides day-to-day explanations on profit and loss for market activities.
Your role
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Provide first line support for all routine employee enquiries.
- Provide administrative support on a day-to-day basis to the HR Manager
- Assist in the development of human resource procedures and policies
- Carry out all recruitment administration including sourcing CVs, arranging interviews, assisting with interviews; preparation of contracts of employment; replying to all applicants
- Prepare contracts and starter packs for new employees joining the company
- Create and maintain all personnel files with accuracy and discretion
- Complete employee inductions as required in a timely manner
- Data entry and management of the HR system for maintaining accurate records
- Establish, organise, and supervise the maintenance of department records, ensuring complete accuracy and confidentiality
- Maintain and update benefits administration for new hires and when changes occur
- Assist with administrative support regarding payroll changes, liaising with payroll team and finance team
- Track probationary periods, provide notification to managers in advance of probation end dates to confirm satisfactory completion
- Support Business Line managers to ensure all phases of performance management are completed within deadlines
- Help identify training needs, source training vendors, and develop training plans for staff
- Assist with termination processes for exiting employees
- Provide administrative support to various HR projects as they arise
- Ad hoc reporting requirements as directed by HR Manager
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Dublin is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com.
Your profile
Graduate from Business School or University with a master degree in HR
Previous experience in HR function would be a plus
Proficient in MS Office
English fluent

The VIE will gain experience in recruitment & induction, training & development, and performance management & reward.
