At Societe Generale, you will be joining the Global Markets division (MARK) of SG Corporate and Investment Banking. MARK offers a cross-asset approach along all its offerings : Research, Investment & Risk Management Solutions, Execution and Prime Services to asset managers, pension funds, companies, private banks, insurance companies, hedge funds, family offices, sovereign funds and distributors worldwide.
Description of the Business Line or Department
Employee will work among the COO team in the front office department. The perimeter covers the exotics and options trading desk for rates, forex and credit asset classes.
Fixed Income & Currencies, A solutions & derivatives house.
The Fixed Income department at Societe Generale aim at providing a full set of services to Institutional and Corporate clients that will support their investment or risk management targets.

Your role
Summary of the key purposes of the role
The job will cover data intelligence for the business lines declined within three items:
Production and presentation of reports summarizing the key performance indicators (KPI)
Migration of the KPI production into the SG data lake
Building FO Income Attribution in SG data lake
Summary of responsibilities
The job will cover data intelligence for the business lines declined within three items:
Production and presentation of reports summarizing the key performance indicators (KPI):
- Get the data from the main sales database, check the quality and identify the points of failure
- Compute KPI (sales credit, hit ratio etc.) at several granularity levels and highlight/understand the main patterns
- Automate and extend the covered scope
Those indicators are key in the sales and business efficiency follow up. They must be available on a regular basis for sales teams and monthly for sales/trading monthly review.
Migration of the KPI production into the SG data lake
- Test and validate the quality of the data lake in relation with the e-business team and IT team
- Follow the roll out of new feedings services (scope/new data/new product)
- Migrates reports production in Power BI
- Define, improve and propose new KPI/analysis
Building FO Income attribution in SG data lake:
- Prepare template to input technical margins
- Work with OPER & Exotech team to replace SOL.ID (database used locally in Asia)
- Coordinate with MACC on production of official IA
- Ensure homogeneous report worldwide
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in London is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com.
Your profile
Graduate with a Master degree from Business school or University in Finance and IT.
A previous experience in Investment Banking would be appreciated.
You are fluent in English.
You are proficient in Office application
To success in this role, job holder needs to develop:
