SUMMARY

The SAP Functional Power User will be responsible for providing daily support for all GDC systems and operations.

Participate in the development and implementation of GDC projects and initiatives, which contribute to the efficiency, and optimization of the Global Distribution operation.

Provide basic analytical support as required and any other duties which may be assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Provide daily Global Distribution Center support on any systems related issues; training/troubleshooting.

Identify opportunities for improvement of processes and provide recommendations.

Perform application troubleshooting and resolve how-to questions and business process related issues.

Provide high quality support in all areas of the operation.

Proactively identify problematic issues (data or process) and work with the necessary individual(s) to resolve such issues.

Provide support and assist in training for new or existing system projects and initiatives.

Support the development and updating of accurate training material for new functionality and changes to existing functionality.

Assist in the execution of system unit testing, integration testing and/or regression testing.

Conduct informal presentations to peers and management.

Create and provide adhoc information utilizing queries, reports, and other applications or tools used for data analysis.

Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Desired profile

REQUIREMENTS

Travel Domestic - Up to 10%

Education Bachelor's degree preferred (engineering or computer science); technical skills and/or equivalent work experience acceptable.

Licenses/Certifications Powered equipment certification a plus, but not required.

Experience Entry level experience:

Prior experience in warehouse/distribution center/factory.
Prior experience communicating professionally by phone and using email.
Prior experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications.
Prior experience with SAP.

Additional/preferred experience:
Working knowledge and experience with handling units, warehouse management, material transfers within warehouse and cross plant, material management, inventory management, movement types, and batch management.

Understanding of master data, organizational structures, picking/put away strategies, and picking/packing processes.

Training experience a plus but not required.
