Graphic Design Intern

Skylark Creative studio is looking for a design graduate to join their team. Are you enthusiastic, inspired and looking for on-the-job experience in a creative environment?

We work on a range of design projects. The day-to-day tasks are therefore varied and challenging. We are involved in developing high-end websites, infographics, iPhone apps, creating written, image and video content and much more. In particular we will be looking for strong illustrative skills.

Our interns are let loose on projects, with invaluable guidance. We push you out of the nest, give you a chance and weigh the results. Your experience will be well rounded, this is not your typical tea-making-paper-filing-assistant position; prepare to get your fingernails dirty.

The job will entail:

Creation of icons / characters for infographics
Storyboarding
Cropping and resizing images
Saving images for web and renaming according to correct conventions
Organizing files and folders of graphic assets
Assistance with presentations
Create layouts
Brainstorming design concepts and feedback on design work
Supporting design developments through research
Executing design concepts for clients
Support for the Middle Weight and Senior designers
