PROFILE:
Knowledge of coordinate measurement systems, theodolite systems (TM5100/TM6100), laser tracker systems.
· Knowledge of data processing tools (SA).
· Author of alignment procedures.
· Supports project plans using the principles of project management to achieve program cost, schedule and performance goals.
· Participates in proposal preparation including labour and material estimating.
· Supports the definition of work statements by evaluating test requirements to meet customer needs.
· Maintains reference standard traceability, calibration procedures/software/methods/measurement parameter & capability
Essential Skills
· 2+ years' experience in the use of metrology equipment in same or similar environments
· Theodolites and mirror cube collimation
· Experience gained from spacecraft AIT / Alignment theodolites
· Spatial Analyser
· ECSS
Desirable Skills
· Clean room experience
· Experience gained from spacecraft AIT / Alignment
· Particular experience with TM5100 & TM6100 equipment

You will join the SII Aerospace and Defence Team and support the Spacecraft Optical Alignment Team in operating theodolites and using SA software on the following tasks:
-Provide efficient solutions to the development of processes and products, ranging from small to large component designs.
-Design and implement cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety and reliability;
-Develop project specifications; develop, test and evaluate theoretical designs;
-Discuss and solve complex problems with manufacturing departments, sub-contractors, suppliers and customers.
-Make sure a product will perform consistently in specified operating environments;
-Manage projects using engineering principles and techniques; and plan and design new production processes.
Ability to set up and drive change process including related deliverables for change of standard configuration, offer change (customisation), validities (point of embodiment). PROFILE:
