Job description



The Testing & Commissioning Coordinator will provide support for local testing group to ensure skilled engineers focus purely on project delivery.

What are my responsibilities?

·  Focal point for documentation within the testing group to ensure testing resources are maximised
·  Liaison with National Testing Co-ordinator for local testing resource
·  Provide office support ie. production of testing plans/strategies, spreadsheets, reports etc.
·  Maintain local testing certificates of competency
·  Manage travel facilities, vehicles and hotel accomodation relating to commissioning activity
·  Liaise with team organisers and Project Managers to plan all relevant commissioning logistics
·  Order, store and distribute safety clothing and equipment as necessary
·  Administrator for time recording - as directed and monitor hidden requirements re excess hours
·  Maintain testing tool calibration database and action findings
·  Produce and maintain register of testing and simulation equipment to ensure availability meets demand
·  Produce and maintain database for safety critical certificates ie. PTS, SPWEE etc.
·  Provide general office support to the testing team
What do I need to qualify for this job?

·  Demonstrable competence in computer literacy, particularly Word, Excel and Access
·  General office experience and organisational, communication skills essential
·  Prepared to work on site 
·  Willingness to learn testing technology and technical requirements
·  Hold PTS Certificate
