Job description

Siemens Industry Softwareis seeking an industrially experienced CFD Engineer to help us promote the benefits of deploying engineering simulation to a wide range of industrial engineering problems. The successful candidate can be based from either our Cambridge or Hammersmith office.

Working in a dynamic international team of engineering and marketing professionals, this role involves communicating the benefits of engineering simulation through articles, blog posts, presentations and videos, whilstperforming cutting edge CFD simulations.

This is a high profile, business strategy oriented, engineering role, which combines commercial and technical skills. It would be an excellent role for an engineer who is interested in developing and understanding the commercial side of engineering, while still maintaining a full set of technical engineering skills. The qualified applicant will be energetic and enthusiastic and have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. They should be a highly motivated, successful engineer, excited by the opportunities that CFD can offer to industry and who wants to broaden the scope of their career to a more commercially focused role.

Requirements:

· Candidates must have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in delivering industrial strength CFD solutions using a leading commercial CFD code, such as Simcenter STAR-CCM+, CFX, or Fluent.
· Practical experience of an industry such as Chemical, Oil & Gas, Aerospace, Energy, Electronics, Marine, Life Sciences, or Automotive would be a distinct advantage.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also a prerequisite for the role.
