We’re currently recruiting a student for our Summer 2024 Siemens Empowers Education and Startups Team. Our internship position will allow you to find a career path that most inspires you. Baseline requirements:

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, current or future, from the company

Academic Enablement Intern

Siemens Digital Industries Software seeks an intern for its Global Academic Program that supports thousands of universities worldwide as well as a large internal stakeholder base. The intern supports Siemens’ mission to empower the next generation of digital talent. You will have the opportunity to directly impact that mission through collaboration with colleagues around the globe in strategic projects to include but are not limited to the following functions:

  • Identify opportunities for curriculum integration and educational resource development based on Siemens technology and expertise
  • Draft and develop learning materials and related assets (both content and marketing)
  • Provide support for technical development on key projects
  • Support team members with project and stakeholder management as well as operational administration for Siemens learning and credentialing initiatives
  • Conduct market and internal research as needed
Organizational requirements: 
  • Pursuing an engineering, computer science, education, or communications degree
  • Familiarity with engineering software/industry
  • Solid research skills
  • Very strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Project management experience
  • Familiarity with ed tech, such as learning apps, online content platforms, learning management systems and coding
  • Structured thinker and excellent analytical skills; able to identify and communicate solutions and recommendations
  • Focused and detailed oriented
  • Independent, flexible, proactive and self-organized
The hourly range for this position is $18.00 to $44.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
