Job description

At Siemens Belgium we are looking for a driven and creative intern to set up dashboards and small tools to optimize the efficiency of our business unit. 

Our division Smart Infrastructure intelligently connects energy systems, buildings and industries, enhancing the way we live and work to significantly improve efficiency and sustainability.  Within our Digital Building and Infrastructure team, we focus on enhancing building performance of critical infrastructures through the power of data.

Are you looking for an internship in data analytics for 5 or 6 months?  

Are you a final year master student?  

Are you curious and eager to learn the business side of data management and its impact on the organization?

We offer an internship of min 6 months in our Business Excellence business unit. Our purpose is to improve and innovate data management and processes through Digitalization.

• Produce dashboards.  
• Co-produce an innovative and time-saving workflows via Power Automate. 
• Document management in Sharepoint. 
• Co-produce an innovative and time-saving tool is a possibility.    

To be successful in this internship you need to have: 

• You are eager to learn Microsoft Office Business Data Analytics (Power Query, Power Pivot, Power BI).  
• You are proficient with Excel (mandatory)  
• A first experience with dashboarding (Power BI, Tableau, QlikSense) is a strong asset, if not, the willingness to learn them must be present. 
• Willingness to learn Microsoft 365 power apps: Power Automate 
• Knowledge of programming languages Python, Javascript, VBA...is an asset  
• Motivation to solve problems, intellectual curiosity for understanding the business (mandatory) 
• Attention to detail and enjoy autonomy
