Job Title: Software Engineer Advanced [MULTIPLE POSITIONS]
Job Location: Plano, TX and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Job Type: Full Time
Duties: Responsible for ensuring the overall functional quality of the released product on all required platforms and mechanisms following the Siemens rigorous design standards. Able to understand complex products, solutions, and problems, with preference towards understanding of various workflows Siemens associated to the Siemens SimCenters. Creates, documents, and executes software designs which may involve complicated workflows or multiple product areas. Technical lead of one or more projects within one area of a product. Provides input towards the technical direction of the product. Occasional consults with Siemens’ customers in regard to future upgrades and products. Able to solve complex technical problems. Provides specialized expertise within multiple systems, software disciplines, as well as general knowledge of related disciplines, applications implications, and customer areas.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's (or foreign equivalent) degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a software development/engineering related occupation. The position requires 3 years of experience to include: C#, WPF, and .Net technologies; Software Testing frameworks – Unit, Integration and Automation tests; and, Software design patterns and system design. 1 year of experience to include: Agile and Scrum Methodologies; Creating software verification and validation plans; risk mitigation and hazard tagging; Root cause analysis and resolutions of customer feedbacks/concerns; and integrating international standards (ISO, ANSI, DICOM) into software products.
