The role.
Service is not just a function, but an integral and significant part of Innomotics – A Siemens Business. Our drive systems are diligently working at the heart of many industries. Product Cluster Management team offers and supports lifecycle service portfolio’s ranging from long term maintenance agreements, digital remote services, upgrade to modern technology that comes with new features and functionalities, factory & field repair and technical support. Outstanding service lies in our dedication to support our customers and partners throughout the lifecycle of Innomotics products.

We are seeking a multifaceted and results-driven Services Product Manager to join Customer Service Product Cluster Management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting the product management strategy for proactive services ultimately enabling our customers to improve availability and reliability of Innomotics drive systems. This role requires a strategic problem solver with a strong discernment to drive growth across our installed base with proactive service portfolio.

This position reports to the Production Portfolio Management Manager, and can be based in Alpharetta, GA, Cincinnati, OH or Pittsburgh, PA.

Key responsibilities include:
Product Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy for proactive services, aligning with the company's overall business goals and market trends. Drive the development and implementation of service offerings to improve drive systems availability and reliability over its lifecycle.

Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify customer needs, market trends, competitive landscape and opportunities for growth. Translate insights into actionable strategies.

Innovation & Agile: Act like an entrepreneur, driving new insights with supporting argument models and/or improvements actions faster from idea generation to first implementation.

Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business development/sales, engineering, quality and R&D to identify and prioritize new service opportunities. Lead the product development process for service offerings following product lifecycle management process.

Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with marketing team to develop and execute marketing strategies, collateral, and promotional campaigns to increase awareness and demand for proactive services.

Sales Enablement: Harvest drive system installed base and drive lead management initiatives. Collaborate with business development/sales team to provide them with the vital tools, training, and product knowledge to effectively promote and sell proactive services.

Product Performance Metrics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the proactive service portfolio; supervise sales performance, profitability and customer satisfaction.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as marketing, sales, operations, and service delivery to ensure alignment and successful execution of service product strategies.

Your profile.

  • BS degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years combined in product management, project management & service experience
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends to make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate efficiently with interdisciplinary teams, partners, and suppliers.
  • Customer-centric problem solver with a dedication to recognizing and resolving customer challenges.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software tools, including Microsoft Office Suite, product management software, and data analysis tools.

The pay range for this position is $87,000 - $149,200. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
