An integral member of the global Siemens Financial Services (SFS) Communications team, the Senior Communications Manager will develop and execute internal and external communications in support of the Project & Structured Finance Americas (PS-AM) business unit within SFS and beyond.

This experienced leader will ensure communications are strategic and engaging through storytelling that articulates the company's vision, goals, and values. Accountable for creating and executing communications that support the business’ goals and objectives, including: 1) Employee engagement and communication within the PS-AM business unit and throughout the broader organization to enhance visibility of the business unit and its role in supporting the company and 2) External communications to help elevate the profile of SFS, its leaders, and its solutions, among key external audiences.

We are looking for a Senior Communications Manager, Siemens Financial Services with the position located in Iselin, NJ. Note that Siemens employs a hybrid working environment model.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn and maintain a deep understanding of business strategies for key stakeholders
  • Translate business strategies into tangible communication plans
  • Direct internal communications activities focused on informing our employee community and empowering them to reach business goals
  • Proactively partner with business stakeholders to develop executive communications themes and messaging to be leveraged in multi-channel communications (e.g., town halls, speeches/presentations, business updates, newsletters, talking points, organizational announcements, brand activities, etc.)
  • Develop and execute strategic thought leadership programs to enhance public image of senior leaders and the organization as a whole

Requirements:

  • 10 or more years related communications experience required
  • Siemens experience or related experience in the financial services industry required
  • Experience working in a large and often complex organization
  • Comfort with ambiguity
  • Self-starter, proactive attitude
  • Proven track record developing content for a variety of channels (newsletters, web, social media, PowerPoint, video, email, print, etc.) required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Ability to interact with executives, sales teams and key customer contacts. 
  • Ability to define customer needs and translate into communication materials.
  • Highly developed influencing relationship and influencing skills for effective interaction
  • Strategic thinking with strong execution

  • The pay range for this position is $104,090 - $178,440 along with an incentive bonus structure. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
