This is an exciting opportunity fora Quality Engineer to join our Quality Team in Hull.

What are my responsibilities?

As a Quality Engineer you will be responsible for defining and specifying processes, tools and quality methods for implementation in production or customer related engineering projects. You will ensure and monitor effective execution and application of preventive quality tools in our processes and projects.

Some of your other key tasks will include but not be limited to:

· Initiating and monitoring the continuous analysis of critical processes, and discussing optional changes to accountable management.
· Completing and maintaining quality inspection and audits programs.
· Recommending and implementing business process changes, carrying out quality improvement projects, and monitoring the respective milestones.
· Performing analyses of all tool related issues in all technical steps. Identifying quality trend data.
· Developing systems for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
· Training staff.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience of manufacturing production environment with quality management experience and proven experience in quality improvement and auditing programmes.

You will have strong leadership and team working skills; the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and a problem solving approach. Working knowledge of statistics for industrial applications is also required. Familiarity with ISO 9001 is desirable but not essential as training can be given.
