Your tasks & responsibilities:

• Driving dynamics and running simulations, performance simulations, specific energy consumption, mathematical calculations,

• Requirement Analyses for tenders and develop traction concept(s), define traction architecture

• Define / Dimensioning of power transmission chain equipment

• You will analyze customer as well as cross functional requirements, simulation results and define component level specifications

• Issue RFQ for Power transmission equipment i.e. Transformer, HV equipment, Line Harmonics, EMI/EMC, Traction Conv, Aux System, Drive Unit etc.

• Interface with suppliers, FAI, Qualification etc.,

• Overview schematic of the power circuits in Visio, (2) Calculate peak, RMS currents

• V-model, Quality gate, Standards, documentation / review using SAP, Requirement management and traceability in DOORS

Required qualifications:

- You successfully majored in electrical or automation engineering (or comparable with a bachelor or master degree) min 2-3 years

- You have multiple years of experience in developing hardware or electrical / electronics for Train Control & Monitoring System (TCMS)

- Ideally, your experience includes safety-relevant control systems in rail vehicles

- You design discrete control circuits and electrical power supply circuits, Power supply design , design control circuits, train control, Auxiliary Power Supply, TCMS

- You have a broad experience in the use of modern E-CAD software, e.g.COMOS, Engineering base, EPLAN or comparable

- Ideally, you have a basic knowledge in energy technology or software development

- You are passionate about understanding complex problems and finding suitable system solutions

- You are fluent in English - German language skills are advantageous
