This is a role well suited to an ambitiousprofessional, looking for the next step in their career. As a ProjectManager – Medical Imaging Equipment Installations, you will be responsible to: 

  • Manage multiple projects in support of ground-upnew hospital or research facilities.
  • Develop and implement detailed solutions forcomplex project challenges by working with advanced stakeholders and SMEs.
  • Support RFP process for installation relatedtopics.
  • Attend presale meetings with AEs and support thesales relationship with customers as required.
  • Visit project sites to secure measurements,produce cost estimates, review quotes and key project success factors such aselectrical and construction requirements with customers.
  • Consult with customers to optimize equipmentlayouts and clinical workflow to incorporate into drawings and project plans
  • Communicate customer specifications to plannersto develop preliminary and final drawings site specific CAD drawings.
  • Communicate project information, status updates,schedule and scope changes to internal and external stakeholders; i.e customer,customer’s architect, engineer, contractor, administration, Siemens Sales andService partners, etc.
  • Assist in development, coordination, andfinalization of project schedules for system production, delivery, installationand applications.
  • Regularly Communicate project schedule, risksand other pertinent issues to internal and external stakeholders
  • Perform regular site visits and monitor progressof site preparation to ensure that all tasks are being completed on schedule inorder to meet assigned project completion dates that impact Siemensprofitability.
  • Maintain accurate and appropriate data in theappropriate data systems and Project Management tools
  • Coordinate and adjust schedules as necessary tominimize unexpected cost increases, to maintain costs, and/or to improveoverall profitability to Siemens—while maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Handle and respond to customer questions, complaints,and problems to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction throughout theproject
  • Complete mandatory Siemen’s forms/checklistsrequired at specific project milestones
  • Conduct/assist in training of other ProjectManagers, participate in Advisory Boards, task force activities, specialprojects, etc.
  • Follow Siemens and customer policies such assafety, regulatory, dress codes/appearance and business conduct
  • Follow all Siemens quality control protocols andescalation policies in project communications
  • Maintain optimum communication practices—respondto daily telephone, email, and written messages in a timely manner
  • Manage travel and office expenses to controlcosts. Maintain Siemens assets (telephones, cars, tools, etc) to ensurelongevity and avoid breakdowns

  • Overseeing logistics, planning, delivery andinstallation activities for imaging equipment across all modalities (i.e. MR,CT, X-Ray) within Siemens Healthineers [Planning for Radiographic, Fluoroscopy,Cardiology, Angiography, Computerized Tomography, Magnetic Resonance, Therapy,Nuclear Medicine and PET Systems]
  • Fostering and maintaining high level relationshipsin key accounts, and for driving revenue by working with customer stakeholdersto develop project pre-construction plans, estimates, and schedules.  
  • Monitoring construction progress, coordinatingwith stakeholders (facilities, architects, mechanical, electrical andstructural engineers, etc.), solving and coordinating construction issues andmanaging delivery and installation activities according to a scheduleestablished mutually with the customer. 
  • Maintaining s full project involvement untilcompletion of all Siemens activities including Applications and follow upService.  Serves as primary point of contact for problem resolution forfull duration of the project.

Requiredskills to have for the success of this role 

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of educationand experience
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of complex projectmanagement experience; managing multiple projects simultaneously specific toconstruction in healthcare environments
  • Experience in dealing with executive-levelmanagement and clinicians within a diverse customer organization
  • Must have ability to read blueprint drawings
  • Extensive experience at successfully managingmatrix project teams, third party vendors and working within a large corporatestructure
  • Knowledge of the construction industry(electrical, plumbing, structural, HVAC
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of the constructionindustry. 
  • Well-organized problem solver with the abilityto work autonomously in a field-based position with little direct oversight
  • CAD knowledge preferred
  • Outstanding written and verbal communicationskills preferred
  • Familiarity with Siemens capital medical imagingequipment preferred
  • Previously or currently licensed tradesmandesirable
  • PMP Certification desirable
  • Ability to Attain/Maintain PMP credential asrequired for position advancement desired
  • Ability up to 75% 
  • Candidates must reside in the location to be served

Field-based and offers company car or program

The pay range for this position is $84,000 - $125,000 annually and offers an annual bonus plan; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
