Job Description

The SGSC is looking for a highly motivated, self-starter and lifelong learner to lead Siemens Generation Service Company's (SGSC) Safety and Quality Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) Program.

The major position responsibilities include:

·Manage SGS injury claims, workers compensation & OSHA 300 Log

·Manage SGSC's CAPAs related to safety & quality issues, developing & implementing effective Lessons Learned & Process Improvements based on detailed analysis of the events

·Manage development of Human Performance Training (HuP) for SGSC's UBC Members (Millwrights)

·Manage the various training programs for SGSC's UBC Members (Millwrights) (Forklift, Confine Space, Fall Protection, etc)

·Manage implementation of RNA FS initiatives among SGS workforce

·Review significant injuries and process improvements at annual supervisor's training conference.

·Periodically visit outages to gain further insight into areas for potential CPI

·Assists SGSC resource coordinators on staffing demands when needed

You will be required to take continuing education courses some of the courses are:

·OSHA 510 within the first few months of taking the position.

·Fall protection training, confined space training, LOTO training and HuP Training should all be taken in first few months if not already previously completed.

·Over time, OSHA 500 would be expected so the SGSC Safety & CPI Professional can teach the OSHA 10 and 30 classes and issue the cards.

Requirements:

·Bachelor's degree in a similar field or 10 years of direct experience required

·5-8 years of experience in the electric, power, or oil & gas industry

·You should have a background in problem solving and process improvement projects

·You must be highly motivated, self-starter, life-long learner with pristine analytical skills.

·Background in safety and quality a plus
