What are my responsibilities?

We are looking for a project buyer who will be fully responsible for carrying out procurement activities for project materials, with low to medium degree of difficulty, with the objective of optimizing supply and generating a contribution to operating profit while taking into account optimization of the total cost of ownership. Ensure smooth execution on operation procurement activities, as well as OTD (on time delivery)

The detailed responsibilities include but not limited to:

·  Preparing and conducting contract and price negotiations.
·  Managing procurement strategies as well as sourcing model to ensure the long-term, cost-effective supply.
·  Assuming operating procurement role for project business.
·  Monitoring contractual agreements/ PO to initiate appropriate measures and guarantee suppliers' performance on price, quality and delivery to meet project requirement.
·  Undertake supplier management to develop the best suppliers and guarantee an optimum supply chain.
·  Managing and recording purchasing data based on individual project for analytical purposes and reporting. Supporting PPM to work on optimization.
·  Participating in working groups to inform oneself and others about the product/supplier policy and to exert influence accordingly.
·  contributing to project Lessons Learnt workshop, supporting PPM to constantly seek for productivity improvement opportunity, automation on PO process, digitalization.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

·  Min 8 years working experience of procurement related.
·  Professional expertise, such as advanced commercial knowledge, contract law knowledge, and advanced negotiation skill
·  High ability to communicate with various interfaces, solve problems and multitasking.
·  Detailed, ownership, earnest, patient and detail oriented.
·  Excellent in written and spoken English and Chinese.
·  University degree or above, relevant major is preferred.
·  Good practical experience of SAP is preferred.
·  Good knowledge of Windows and office software (esp. excel, powerpoint)
·  Good practical experience of Steam Turbine material purchasing is preferred
