Position Overview

You will perform numerous filling and packaging operations to support manufacturing schedules. Equipment includes fillers, cappers, labelers, high-speed checkweighers and automated packaging machinery.

This is a role well suited to a dedicated individual, looking for the next step in their career. As a Production Worker 1, you will be responsible for:

•You will perform a wide variety of routine manufacturing functions within area of specialization.

•You will select appropriate processes from clearly documented work instructions.

•You will seek advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from Coordinator or Supervisor.

•Your participation will be required within continuous improvement and safety related activities.

This position includes the handling of all types of materials, including hazardous and DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) controlled materials. The successful candidate must pass a DEA background check

Required skills to have for the success of this role

· 
High School diploma or equivalent is required.

· 
Typically, up to 2 years of successful experience in area of responsibility.

· 
Ability to demonstrate correct understanding of routine aspects of work.

· 
Must pass a DEA background check
