Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.

Your mission

Within the French “Global Sales & Customer Support” organization, you will join our “Presales Consultants” team dedicated to the Simulation & Test portfolio and will act as a Pre-Sales consultant for our Simcenter system simulation solutions in France.

As a technical referent on this product line, your main missions will be to listen and understand the needs expressed by our customers (automotive, aeronautics, energy, medical, etc.) and make value propositions implementing our solutions to meet their needs and tackle their problems. You will carry out demonstrations or proofs of concept relevant to the clients´ needs and will help users in the evaluation phase to support the sales process. You will advise our customers (training, service) and will intervene occasionally alongside our support teams and with our reseller partners to facilitate the deployment, adoption and expansion of our solutions.

As a key member of the team working on one or more accounts, you will work with your peers to enhance the interoperability of our Simcenter simulation and test solutions. Your feedback from the field to the R&D teams will contribute to improvement of our solutions.

This position is located in our Châtillon (92) or Lyon (69) offices and is to be filled in as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Engineering background
• Knowledge of one or several system simulation tools such as Simcenter Amesim, Simcenter Flomaster or similar (Matlab/Simulink, Dymola, GTPower), in an industrial context (automobile, aeronautics, energy, etc.).
• You have a first experience in an industrial environment which ensures you a good knowledge of the issues and problematics related to multi-physical phenomena (thermal, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, etc.)
• Curious to discover other areas (3D simulation, testing or simulation data management)
• Understanding of systems engineering processes is a plus
• Great interpersonal skills in English and French (oral and written)
• Proactivity, curiosity and team spirit
