What part will you play?
· As part of your thesis, you will develop cutting edge and novel techniques for vision-based systems in industrial applications, particularly in the area of anomaly detection
· You will address the challenge of lack of sufficient training data/absence of domain-specific training data/ class-imbalance/lack of annotated training data for anomaly detection by conceptualizing, implementing and testing innovative new methods
· Secure work results through patent applications
· Also, you will publish in top-ranked conferences and journals
· Write your dissertation in collaboration with the partner university and a diverse and dynamic team at Siemens
We don't need superheroes, just super minds.
· Successfully completed Masters degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication/Computer Science/Physics/Mathematics
· Knowledge of pattern recognition and analysis, linear algebra, optimization techniques, image processing/signal processing
· Exposure to deep learning techniques, algorithms, frameworks
· Skilled in at least one or more programming languages: Python/C/C++/C#/Java
· Highly motivated, independent thinking with creativity
· Passionate about solving real-world problems
· Excellent communication skills with a strong hold in the English language in oral and written form
