Management Accountant – Material Management

What are my responsibilities?

The Management Accountant is an integral role to the organisation and reports directly to the Financial Controller for Production, overseeing the monthly financial reporting cycle to ensure timely delivery of accurate and reliable financial information to internal stakeholders.

You will be responsible for budgets and forecast preparations “month end process” working closely with the Controlling team. You will also ensure compliance of factory business activities i.e. Sarbanes Oxley/Signature protocol. You will also undertake material cost analysis for Direct and Indirect Material against Budget and Forecast and also undertake production costs and manufacturing variance analysis. Some of your other responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

· Cost Center Controlling and Business Partnering with different functions across the business.
· Financial statement controlling, Factory Price calculations, Cash flow and balance sheet management
· Monitoring of WIP and forecast preparation on a monthly basis.
· Supporting Cost Reducing Initiatives across the business
· Support in the preparation, analysis and annotation of the monthly plant performance
· Implementation and development of reporting systems

What do I need to qualify for this role?

The ideal candidate for this role will be a part qualified accountant currently studying towards an accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA). You will have proven experience of working in a similar role and havea very highlevel of attention to detail. You will have the ability to work with complex processes and you will have excellent communication. You must be a team player and eager to learn. This role requires a result oriented individual focused on improving processes and work flows.
